I do general book illustration, but specialize in children's, technical and educational books. I do paper engineering for both "pop-up" and "cut and assemble" books. I specialize in complex "3-D model" type pop-ups, and am particularly interested in challenging and "impossible" projects. Illustration in all media, but particularly acrylic, watercolour and airbrush work. Published work includes "Max's Machines" (Scholastic,1998) "Cinderella" (Top story,1999, possibly the most complex single-spread pop-up ever commercially produced) "The Amazing Book of Paper Boats" (a "cut and assemble" book of 18 floating paper boats, Chronicle Books, 2001) and paper engineering for "The First Christmas" (Eagle, 2001/2). I've also done commercial work including product development for Hasbro and others.
